Post 16 Open Evening, Wednesday 25th November from 6.00pm to 8.15pm.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming Year 11 students and their parents/carers to our Open Evening. During this event you will have the opportunity to speak to staff and students about the courses we offer that are of interest to you. There will also be tours of the school and talks about Sixth Form life, these will run at 6.15pm and 7.00pm. We expect students to attend with their parents/carers and will provide tickets for the talks on the evening; we apologise but there will be a maximum of 2 parent/carer tickets per student (we are unable to accommodate younger siblings).
If you are interested in joining our Sixth Form, applications can be made via this link Mayfield Grammar School, Gravesend from Thursday 26th November 2026 to Friday 5th February 2027. All applications will close on Friday 5th February 2027.
If you have not made an application by the deadline you will not be able to apply for a place until GCSE results day in August. Please contact the school after you have received your GCSE results in August, as we may have spaces available and can assess whether we can admit you for your desired subjects. Please contact the school on 01474 352896 or email admissions@mgsg.kent.sch.uk to make an appointment once you have your results and have checked that they meet our requirements for entry to the Sixth Form and for your desired courses.
